yes, so this is my entry for the art in music contest. we're supposed to make something (any genre) which is inspired by a song - preferably our favorite song, but whatever.

the song which inspired this is "Where Have all the Flowers Gone?", and it was written by Pete Seeger in the 1960's and originally performed by the group Peter, Paul, and Mary. *nods* it's been my favorite song ever since I can remember.

the "flowers" in the song represent peace, I believe, and when it goes, "when will they ever learn?" it's asking when the world will ever figure out that violence isn't the answer.
